Accommodation Center for Parents Accompanying Sick Children

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, through CNAS, continuously strives to improve and humanize services for its insured members. In recent years, the fund has undergone comprehensive reforms across all its structures, including health and social services.

In this context, a center was built to accommodate parents accompanying children undergoing heart surgery at the “Mohamed Othmane Talba” Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Clinic in Bou Ismaïl. A significant budget was allocated for this project.

Construction began on December 20, 2008, and lasted eleven months. This facility is unique in Algeria, and was designed with Islamic architectural elements and decorative touches that give it beauty and elegance, making it a source of pride for the social security sector.

The building has three upper floors with 17 rooms and a total capacity of 32 beds: 8 rooms on the first floor, 5 on the second, and 4 on the third. All rooms are fully equipped to provide comfort.

The project also includes a children’s play area and an activity room with games to entertain young patients. A fully equipped kitchen and dining room are located on the ground floor, staffed by a qualified culinary team. Two balconies overlooking the Bou Ismaïl Corniche offering guests a relaxing view of the sea.
